Regulator rectifiers

Our regulator rectifiers are available for single-phase, two-phase and three-phase generators. Typically, the three-phase type is bought for motorcycles, but customers also buy single-phase and very rarely two-phase type for motorcycles.

The regulator rectifier was designed for motorcycles with permanent magnet induction. The advantage of our product: 

- Compatible with most motorcycles powered by three-phase generators with permanent magnet induction. You can read more about this by clicking here

- Waterproof

- It heats up less compared to previous rectifiers made with thyristor technology

- Thanks to this, you don't need the cooling effect of the driving wind (you can also install it under the body) and even if you install it next the exhaust the heat of it does not cause any problems

- More stable voltage regulation (adjusts to the desired voltage more precisely)

Of course, we guarantee our product for one year.

 

The wires of the regulator rectifier are not equipped with a connector, we recommend soldering. If you insist on it, you can find connecting sets in the "Other products" category.

The wire length are approx. 25 cm long, which is long enough in most cases, but we can also supply them with a 55 cm long wire if you mark at the order.

Technology:

MOSFET: Our MOSFET regulator rectifier is designed to regulate the charge of motorcycles equipped with average-performance generators on the market without any problems, regardless of where they are installed. It is no longer necessary to equip the regulator rectifier with processor fans or to relocate it to better ventilated locations.

MOSFET + IC control: Our three-phase regulator rectifiers can also be ordered with an IC control design. With this, the heating of the rectifier can be significantly reduced, which can thus be loaded with an even higher current. This is especially recommended if the motorcycle works with a high-power (greater than 400W) generator. Of course, it also works perfectly with smaller power generators (below 400W), but IC control is not necessary for these smaller generators, the "normal" MOSFET technology is perfectly sufficient.

Our single-phase thyristor regulator rectifiers can be used for mopeds (eg Aixam, Ligier, Lombardini), Japanese compact tractors (eg Kubota, Yanmar, Iseki), motorcycles (single-phase only !!) or other machines (eg diesel road rollers, rammer towed compressors, tar mixers, etc.).

This product is rarely needed! The regulator rectifier is designed for motorcycles with an electromagnetic (excited rotor) generator.

It cannot be used for motorcycles with a permanent magnet excitation generator.

Universal MZ-ETZ motorcycle voltage regulator 12V is also compatible with vehicles that have a regulator installed outside of the generator and have an excited rotor (ex-socialist cars, e.g.: Lada 1200, Skoda 105, Skoda 120, Dacia).

MZ ES/TS universal dynamo voltage regulator 6V can only be used to negative ground motorcycle, for example:

- Jawa Czetka 

- MZ (ET/TS)

 

By definition, only one of outputs DF(-) andDF(+) is used in a given case (depending on whether the system has negative or positive regulation). Incorrect connection can damage the rectifier.

DF(-)  excitation for a negative regulation system
